Starting at 9am with Prana Vinyasa Flow Yoga which is an energetic, creative, full-spectrum approach to embodying the flow of yoga created by Shiva Rea. Prana, the universal source of breath and life-force is experienced as the guiding source of yoga practice.
Vinyasa is the evolution of classical and innovate approaches to yoga asanas. It encourages fluidity, strength, intuition & awaken our inner intelligence. The state of unified consciousness is the flow through which we deepen our connection to self & the world.
Beginning at 5pm with Pilates, where balance is challenged in a range of positions and endurance is emphasized. While your core is always center stage, full body exercises are woven throughout each class. Known to help strengthen stability, improve precision, control and agility, all the while improving coordination. This class is ideal for those wanting to keep moving!
To end the evening, Melanie was joined by the beautiful setting sun as shared Soma Prana Vinyasa. This practice also comes from the teachings of Shiva Rea,, and is as a beautiful companion to your solar practice. It is a soothing moving meditation into a deep whole-body opening, relaxation, as a flowing tantric-based approach to lunar energy of asana. Dive into a juicy, regenerative approach to a deep, slow vinyasa. Giving you both an inner and outer workout but within a meditative environment. Soma is connected to the inner water, ojas, essence and vitality as the sublime nectar of healing; the energy that can regenerate our tissues, immunity and joy for life.
